SA-MP 0.3.7-R5 client update (strongly recommended)

An important client update (SA-MP 0.3.7-R5) is now available on the Download Page.

> There is an exploit in the client. It’s a critical RCE vulnerability that allows server owners to run unauthorized code from players PCs.

This update fixes the exploit. 0.3.7 server operators should check the client version and recommend players update if they’re not using the 0.3.7-R5 version.

The -R revisions contain bug fixes and security updates. Always use the latest revision.

  1. Would you ever consider heading into scripting again, mainly rebooting sa-mp? I understand you lost interest in the project but for 2022 it is still very much alive and being used. From the perspective of someone who has played for 10+ years it still has potential that you’ve given up on.

  3. Hello, I hope everything is going well. Lately, I have returned to SA-MP, as a former developer, nostalgia got the best of me, you know. It’s good to see that SA-MP has made a remarkable improvement, with healthier communities, people having a great time, and everyone going crazy to create a server. There are stable players, and I wondered, why not do it again myself? However, as I work on it, I notice the lack of functionality, resources, and improvements. I know that for you and your team, this might be retired from your projects. But it makes me wonder if you or your team ever consider giving SA-MP an improvement. You know, making it the community it used to be, or even better now. An active community that only lacks developer activity.
